[Grimlock does as she asks and places a balloon over his vents. It's not how humans and Cybertronians with uncovered mouths might do it, but as he exhales, the balloon starts filling up.]

Bigger! As big as they'll go! I'll pump up the smaller ones. These have a bunch of stuff in them, so when they pop over people they'll get covered in confetti or glitter!
[His optics light up as he imagines the colorful explosion.]

[And he puts more effort into puffing up the balloon. it starts, well, ballooning in size very quickly. For a moment, he wonders if he can make a balloon big enough for himself to step into.]
Maybe me Grimlock use dinosaur form? Then me do balloon breath!
That's the idea! [she also gets the feeling some of them won't really enjoy getting glitter or confetti in their vents, but it won't be fatal or anything so whatever. they all need to lighten up a bit.] Oh, that sounds so cool. Show me?
[He ties and then sets aside the balloon he's finished with, and pulls an empty balloon toward the side of the table. He turns into his dinosaur mode, and, with some finagling, manages to catch the balloon in his mouth without damaging it. Then, he turns out the propulsion system inside his dinosaur head, careful not to spit any fire. The balloon stars growing bigger and bigger...]

[Without thinking, he opens his mouth to call out his newest variation on his fire breath, and the balloon transforms into a whizzing, whirling, glittering doom rocket. By the time it's finished spitting out its contents, Grimlock is left covered in glitter.]
[He shakes himself from head to toe, causing the glitter to fly off of him. Then he tries again with another balloon. This time he twists and ties it before opening his mouth.]
Now this balloon breath!
[The balloon's walls are fiber-thin. It looks like one wrong touch will make it burst its contents all over.]
Well, you did prove the idea works... [mikaela actually backs up when he starts with the new balloon, eyeing the sheer walls of it a little nervously.]
Maybe a little smaller than that? We don't want people to know there's stuff inside the balloons!
