[He lets out a quiet sigh, and his posture sags a bit. He says something that he would only admit to himself, or, rather, another version of himself.]
Me worried. Hope they do nothing stupid. Miss them.

[ He turned on the screen for his arm computer and pulled up a group picture, Grimlock in the back with the four dinobots crowded in front of him, smiling. ]
I'm sure Swoop and Snarl will keep him in line, though his name is Slug in my universe, interestingly. The dinobots in our world weren't made by Wheeljack and Ratchet either, they hail from one of the colonies. Unfortunately it was destroyed and they lost their leader, but the four of them survived and made their way to Cybertron before I even met them.
They can handle themselves in a pinch, and I'm certain your's are the same. I do hope you get to see them again soon though.
[He marvels at the picture. Their frames are smaller and slighter, their faces more resemble those of human children, but they are all recognizable as his Dinobots. He smiles to see them all so happy.]

[He can't imagine not being from the same world as his Dinobots.]

[It's confusing, but there's one thing he's still clear on.]

No, their leader was named Tinyarms, but he had the same dinosaur form as us. He sacrificed himself so they could escape the planet. That's what brought them to Cybertron in the first place; they wanted to hunt down the villains that destroyed their home and avenge him.
I'm sure they would love to meet their counterparts from your universe! Part of me hopes they show up, but then they'd be stuck away from home too and that's not very good either.
[He wonders what it would be like to know another T-rex Dinobot. Maybe it would be like having a little brother, just like how Sunstreaker had Sideswipe.]
Me think Dinobots like it here. Everything big enough for them live in. Just no good swimming spot. Or flying spot.
[He starts to realize why the Dinobots might feel out of place here.]
Maybe better Grimlock go home. See them. Me get them souvenirs!
[He pulls the special energon treats Maccadam made out of his subspace pocket to show the other Grimlock.]
[ He couldn't help but laugh as Grimlock showed him his souvenirs. He pulled out his own trinkets he'd been gathering: a jar of pink sand from Etis for Arcee and multi-colored coral shaped like a bird for Swoop. ]
Two of a kind, aren't we! That's a great way to show them you were thinking about them while you were here. You can tell them all about your adventure, but you can leave out the boring parts so they can experience the best parts of it through the telling. And hopefully we'll both get home soon to share it with them.
By the by, any chance you've heard of the Enigma of Combination?

It's rhombus, about this big– [ he holds up his hands at about the correct size ] – with gold casing and it pulses with blue light. It gives off a strange energy and if many bots are touching it at the same time it gives the ability to combine into one larger, stronger being.
I sto– found it, exploring the tomb of Nexus Prime, and the dinobots happened to activate it by accident when we were escaping a rather vicious crew of rapscallions. Which is how we found out what it did.
[ He pulled up another picture, one their combined form. Volcanicus had their sword on their shoulder, a wide smile on their visored face. It looked like they had been trying to do a cool pose and someone made them laugh in the middle of it. ]
[Grimlock stares at the photo with a mix of jealousy and awe]
Me Grimlock want combine with Dinobots too! Be awesome Volcanicus!
[Oh, to be bigger than he already is. To tower above all the other Autobots and Decepticons and maybe even Devastator. To wield a big sword and have a fancy combiner form and stomp every enemy that comes against him. Maybe he'd even have a crown.]
[He'll have to discuss this with Perceptor at some point.]
Perhaps there's an Enigma of Combination in your world that just hasn't been discovered yet. You and your dinobots could go on a quest to find it when you get back.
